The University of Wollongong Alumni Interview

This week I was asked to be interviewed on The University of Wollongong’s radio channel as a featured Alumni.

I studied a double degree of Law and Communications and Media Studies, majoring in Journalism, and then post graduate Law at The University of Wollongong. I then worked as a lawyer at The University of Wollongong for their commercial arm. At no point did I think I would become a health and well-being specialist. So they were very interested to explore how I got to where I am today, and my motivations for creating the offerings I provide today including The Lawyer’s Mind CPD courses and retreats pioneering, first of their kind offerings for legal well-being.

It is always lovely to reflect back on where I have come from, the road to get to where I am now, and share all the reasons I do what I do.

It’s easy for me to not stop and reflect on everything that’s happened to get me to this point in my life, and it’s a really lovely thing to go back to the start and connect with the original motivations for me to be doing what I’m doing today.

Some days it’s easy to get bogged down in the day to day. This was an opportunity to passionately share my “why.”
